Produktbeschreibung

Our Organic Jersey-Stripes (30/5mm) - GOTS 6.0 - dark-blue/deep-red is a cotton fabric with little spandex. It is breathable and absorbent at the same time. It is well suited for sensitive people because it is very skin-friendly. To create a striped pattern we cannot use the classic dip dyeing of plain fabrics. Instead, the yarn is dyed before processing. Unlike the digital printing, the color fastness is preserved much longer. The pre-dyed yarn also transfers the pattern to the back of the fabric, so it can be used from both sides. Its stretchiness maintains the fit and makes it perfect for everyday wear.

Did you know that ...

Jersey stripe is a knitted fabric, which means that during production one loop of thread is looped into another loop. In jersey stripe, two pre-dyed yarns are used for this purpose, which creates the stripe pattern. By using right stitches on one side and purl stitches on the other, the jersey stripe creates very little texture, providing a smooth surface.
