Printing Method
Digital printing on sustainable fabrics
We use digital printing exclusively – the most modern and flexible printing method for textiles. It allows an unlimited number of colours, precise reproduction of fine detail and is ideally suited to watercolours, gradients and intricate linework.
Unlike screen printing, there are no screens or setup times involved – making digital printing particularly cost-effective for smaller runs and enabling maximum creative freedom from as little as 100 metres per motif.
Production takes place on GOTS 7.0 certified fabrics. Fabrics with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 are also available on request – with or without GOTS documentation, depending on your project requirements.
Minor adjustments to your print file – colour corrections, sizing, repeat optimisation – are carried out by our designers free of charge to ensure the best possible result.

How your custom production works
From the first file to the finished roll, you have a dedicated contact person at fabrilogy. Here is the process at a glance:
01
Submit your design
Send us your design as a high-resolution image file. Our team checks file quality, repeat layout and print suitability.
02
Strike-off & sample
After placing the order we produce a strike-off within 5–10 working days. You receive approximately 2–4 metres of sample fabric for approval.
03
Approval & production
Once you give print approval, full production begins. Production time is approximately 6–8 weeks from approval.
04
Delivery
The fabric is inspected, optionally doubled and shipped to you as rolls or bolts as required. Freight costs are at your expense.
"Strike-offs are invoiced – these costs are fully reimbursed once you commission production of at least 100 metres of that design."

Rolls contain approximately 40–60 metres. Shipped in an outer carton – an oversized surcharge applies for rolls. Large quantities are shipped on pallets (from approx. 500m).
Doubled bolts
Bolts are doubled to 10m or 20m lengths and generally shipped in a cardboard box. A practical option for smaller quantities and easy storage.

FAQ
Yes, of course. Full-width and edge-to-edge printing is straightforward with digital printing.
Because we work with natural raw materials, colour variations can occur. The size of motifs and repeats may also vary slightly. Deviations of up to 10 % are possible and are standard across the industry.
No – that would actually be the exception. We print on large industrial machines where waste is inevitable, so we always produce more metres than ordered. Deviations of up to 20 % must be accepted. Example: 100m ordered → 80–120m will be invoiced.
No, this is an average figure and deviations are possible in both directions. After print approval, a free production slot is sought and booked – this can take up to 5 weeks. Transport adds approximately 2 weeks, followed by inspection and optional doubling. Deviations are always possible.
To some extent, yes. We can arrange air freight (approx. 3 days instead of 2 weeks). If you can waive visual inspection and doubling, a further 1–2 days can be saved. Please contact us for a personalised quote.
Ideally a high-resolution TIFF or PNG (minimum 150 dpi at final size, 300 dpi preferred). AI and PSD files are also accepted. Our designers will review the file and contact you with any questions. Heavily compressed JPEGs should be avoided.
Yes. The minimum order is 200 metres total, with at least 100 metres per design. You can combine 2 × 100m, 3 × 100m (= 300m) or more within a single order.
Yes. We print your designs exclusively for you and do not share them with third parties. Your artwork and print files are treated with full confidentiality.
Yes. We can print on GOTS 7.0 certified fabrics and issue the relevant documentation. The print inks must also be GOTS-compliant – we ensure this. Please indicate when enquiring whether a GOTS certificate is required.
Strike-off costs are invoiced. You receive approximately 2–4 metres of sample fabric. These costs are fully reimbursed once you commission production of at least 100 metres of that design. Please contact us directly for a specific quote.
